SUBMITTING AN ESSAY TO THE JJQ

We welcome the submission of manuscripts to the James Joyce Quarterly. The following information will help us and potential contributors in carrying out our editorial policy.

The JJQ publishes over fifty items per volume and rejects over three times that many. Some of the published material—especially book reviews and articles in special issues—is solicited. We request that essays be emailed directly to carol-kealiher@utulsa.edu. Manuscripts should not ordinarily exceed approximately 8000 words and must conform to the Chicago Manual of Style in all matters of form and be accompanied by an e-mail address, if available. Please see below for the preferred editions of Joyce’s works to be cited in manuscripts along with the style to be used for the different editions.
